Online retailer, Enjust has now launched an online shopping channel for its adult sex toys.
Enjust have announced that they want focus on the release of new adult sex toys, introducing the crossover between technology and pleasure. A recent example of this is the Flashlight Launch, which incorporates a Virtual Reality headset with their male masturbation toy to create an undeniably realistic sexual experience.
Enjust director Katie says “ Since the release of Fifty shades of Grey by E.L. James, the adult toy industry is becoming increasingly mainstream. Whereas adult toys used to be very much of a taboo, now 1 in 2 females own a sex toy or accessory. We would also like to increase those statistics for men as sexual pleasure isn't something worth shying away from and has a huge impact on mental health and wellbeing.”
Over the past decade, sex toys have gone from speedy to chic, swapping the aisles of porn shops for those of Tesco and Poundland. Enjust have a plan to make this even more mainstream, specifically in the UK, as the UK is one of the most open minded countries in the world, with the increase of gay awareness and now adult toy awareness. It's odd to admit this but vibrators may have gone way beyond not being shameful. They may just be cool with female singer Beyoncé supposedly owning a gold plated collection.
With the adult sex toy market rocketing, it is currently a £15 billion industry and is expected to rise to £52 billion within the next 4 years.
Due to this Enjust are working on one of the UK’s first public affiliate program for adult toys. Enjust’s director Katie says “ There is over £40 billion to be made in adult toys over the next 3-4 years. We believe everyone should be able to get a slice of the cake, without having to invest a single penny.”
